Welcome to the board frenchthrill,

So if your husband was out for a 'guys night out' and did some things he wasn't proud of, would you want to know?

Welcome to the board frenchthrill,

If you think there is a possibility that he will hear about your behavior from someone else, then you need to tell him what happened first.

Perhaps, you aren't ready to be married if you are out doing things at bars that you know you shouldn't be doing. Drinking doesn't make someone do things that wouldn't have otherwise done.

Hi scorpchic26,

Thanks for particpating.

While alcohol lowers inhibitions, it is not an excuse for inappropriate behavior.

Gotta say though, I disagree with you. While alcohol lowers inhibitions, it is not an excuse for inappropriate behavior. More likely, if the person's morals, standards, values and expectations agree with the inappropriate behavior, then the person is going to do it.

Being drunk doesn't make you do things you would never have done sober. It just makes it easier to do things. You still would have had the desire when sober but being drunk makes it easier to do.

I have just posted on a few other boards regarding my situation- which also involved alcohol.

While I agree that alcohol is not an EXCUSE for bad behavior- it certainly was the reason for my behavior. I would never have cheated sober; yes it was easier to do but the honest truth was I was stupid.

Welcome to the board hurtinguy,

We see it way different. People do what they want to do because they want to do it.

We are just going to have to agree to disagree on this issue. You still had to choice.
