Is there some reason you can't deliver it in person?

He is out of town for a few weeks, and I want to get it to him asap. I feel like the longer I wait, the worst it will be...

Snail mail.... it will give him the space away while he's out of town.

It depends upon what you're looking to get from that letter.

If you're hoping it will

Thanks for your responses so far. I have another question. I have a couple books of his, that I've been meaning to give back to him for a real long time; since way before we stopped talking. But obviously I haven't been able to get them back to him because of our incident. I was planning on sending them back to him through mail.

Would it be good to maybe send the letter with the books???

if you are returning his books at this point of your rs,then it might indicate an end of it.You start returning things only when you are done( depends upon the situation tho)

Sending the letter with the books is a good idea in my opinion.

One of them is actually his Mother's book. Thing is, I'm not even sure if the relationship is over or not...I've been assuming different things without having answers and that's part of the reason why I've wanted to send this letter to him...
