We have the same argument every month. My car payment is over $500.00 a month. My husband makes ten times the money that I make each month. I usually gross around 2000.00. I used to py the majority of the bills even though he made more money than I did. He is self employed and has to pay other workers. What is fair? Who should pay what? I pay car insurance, our son's hospital insurance, and grocery. He constantly argues about what he has to pay which is usually the phone bill and mortage. I don't know how to resolve these issues.
Any advice
Thanks.

Well, my fiance and I share the expenses, along with pooling out money together. I beleive that not just the good things should be shared, but the bad as well i.e the bills....That said, its obvious that this is a view neither one of you share, or act on. Maybe you should try sitting down, writing down all the outgoing expenses every month along with what each of you bring home financially. Split finances accordingly.
Is debt an issue as well?Or just who pays what/more? A financial advisor could be an answer.. Is paying over 500.00 a month for a vehicle really necissary? Money is a huge argument between alot of couples, but one that can be worked out.Good luck.
I'd suggest marriage counseling to him - tell him you can't go on this way.
