No, there is nothing wrong with you. The two of you have very different ideas of what marriage/relationship look like and how each of you should behave while in one. You have a difference of expectations.
Read the book: Are You the One for Me? by Barbara DeAngelis - it should help a lot.
Also read: Relationship Rescue, by Phil McGraw (together if you can)
I am not sure there is nothing wrong with him. If he is upset about the way you contact him over something benign or is trying to get in the way or monitor the time you spend with friends then you may be onto some red flags.
Just keep observing the way you feel when he asks you to do something that you don't feel comfortable with. If his ego is hurt because you don't have sex everyday or you don't call him constantly then you may have a rocky road ahead of him.
Is he still angry with his ex? Does he talk about her a lot?
The day he accuses you of cheating, run. Until then don't sell your house or move in with him and be very clear about your expectation. Take a night to yourself if you need it without guilt.
