What field of work is he in? Did he go to college?

He has had 20 or so different jobs in the past eight years, mostly with telemarketing start-ups that go nowhere.

Welcome to the board goddess_belle2007,

I am sorry but you shouldn't have to do anything to show your husband that it is important that he have steady employment to be able to support his family. This should be a given.

Have you talked to him about this?

Isn't there a Walmart or someplace that isn't going to go out of business where he could work?

Maybe if you need throw him out, he would know that you are serious.

Since he doesn't contribute anything financially, you would be in a better position without him, because you wouldn't be paying for his food, gas, etc.

Why do you continue to allow this? Supporting this man and his children while he skips around jobs and takes time off whenever it suits him? Allowing him to refuse to work at Wall-mart. Why, he's too good for it? Those people work hard, they hold down their job, and some of them get benefits.
