where to start? well first of i was just wondering if my man is to controlling. he gets mad when i want to go out with my friends or sisters for a girls night out. i was born and raised here, so i know everybody. He thinks that guys are going to hit on me. an example would be one night my sister had asked me to drive her to karoke so i did and then i decided to go in for a minute i was only ther for 20

"also another thing is that he never wants to go out to the bar, unless its out of town bars. "

Do you think that could possibly be because he doesn't want to be caught with a girlfriend by "someone" he knows?

A relationship with a controller (which is what you have) will never be satisfying to you. You'll end up losing all of your friendships and most likely family relationships as well. He isn't worth it. This guy doesn't want the best for you. I've known many people who have lost friends they will never get back. This guy will consume your life if he hasn't already, and it still won't be enough for him.

Welcome to the board campbellgurl,

Yes he is controlling, too controlling and no you are not overreacting. And his comment about not being mad if you went grocery shopping because there would be no guys to hit on your there isn't true. I have been hit on numerous times while grocery shopping.

In my opinion, this is an abusive relationship and could get dangerous. I would really think about ending it.
