deployment marriage

My husband and I are both in the Navy. We have been married 9 months now and have only spent 2 of those months together. Our deployments keep overlaping, and sometimes we don't even get to see each other between deployments. How do you make a marriage work like this. I feel like our entire marriage is through email, and half of those are arguing because an email is not always taken the way you mean it. And when we are together, it is like a honeymoon every day because we don't ever get any time together we are both afraid to upset the other durring the little time we have. What can I do to make this work and keep both of us happy.

Hi navybeth and welcome to the board.
Learning to communicate effectively in writing can help.
I think cl-itwinflame gave you some very good advice. I don't really have any to add, but though you might want to try posting on the Military wives board. Here is a link http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-rlmilitarywi
