Did I Do the Right Thing?

On the weekend, an acquaintance made a comment to me that really took me by surprise. She said to me (I don't even know how we got onto the topic) "You could at least kiss the guy". The guy,Keith,is someone that (a long story that i won't get into!) is interested in me, since last summer, and I've made it very clear that I don't want anything more than friends...he's actually since blown that, but that's a whole other story. This girl is one of my best friend's sisters...who happened to have a little fling with him. I'm not one to air my dirty laundry, so Keith could be the only one that had told her that I didn't let him kiss me when he had tried to last year.

In reaction to her comment, I just said "Rebecca, don't even get into that" and I left not a minute later. I'm not sure if she sensed the awkwardness, but I sure did! She I just leave it at that? Anytime we're together, she always seems to bring him up, in spite of me or something..when in fact, i CHOSE not to be with him. It just really hurts me that just because i don't make out with a guy. Since when is pointing a finger at my standards and decisions, okay?

I apologize for the rambling, or if the story is scattered, i just didn't want to forget anything. I appreciate any input :)

jrobbies...

Rebecca was trying to get a reaction out of you...AND SHE DID! Personally...Pianoguy would like to string her up...inside a piano!

YOU are very cool. And Pianoguy think you acted appropriately.

Keith isn't what you want! Why bother "tossing away one of your kisses" when there are at least a zillion other men who would appreciate 'em? :)
