ok. so here is the thing, today i was cleaning out the files in my b/f and my computer because he had mentioned that it was running really slow. I went to the computer cookies and cleaned out all i had in my cookies so i went on to his. I found a lot of porn websites that he had visited along with everyother website he was going on. The porn doesnt really bother me, i'm fine with that. What caught my eye was two websites. 'adultfriendfinder' and 'fling' which were both accessed only 3 days ago.
We are doing fine in our relationship, at least i thought we were, we have been together for 4 yrs now and living together. I'm not sure if i should be worried about this. Is he really trying to find a 'fling' for one night. Is there a chance that this could have been a mistake and he accidentaly got on those sites? Is this a pretell sign that he wants to cheat on me? Please if you could write back with your thoughts and comments i'd really appreciate it. If anyone has had a similar situation please write me.
Thanks.

I wouldn't want to call him guilty or innocent without knowing whether or not he's got a profile.

You see, I'm married, but I love dating/sex sites. I find them interesting and I like to guess what the person I'm looking at is like. It's all just a bit of fun and window shopping. However, I would never meet anyone and I've never had a profile.

You seem to know your way around a computer. Given this you should also know that a Pop-up can easily leave a cookie on a PC.

If you want to find what else he's doing on the computer, you can dl keylogger. It's a program that is invisible and only you can access it with certain keys or passwords. This program records all key strokes that are typed into the computer including passwords and even can give you screen shots of pages that are being looked at. It's just a suggestion in case you want to do more investigating.

As long as there are no other red flags, I would think it's due to pop ups with the porn sites.

No, no other red flags have gotten my attention. I think I might have over reacted about this. I also don't think that keylogger is necessary right now. I wouldn't feel right downloading that on the computer. After having some days to think about it I feel comfortable with the fact that I don't belive he is thinking about cheating.
Thanks everyone for your replies. Have a good night, all.
