Then no wonder he races out of the classroom. He knows it isn't ethical to date a student. Maybe you should wait until the term is over before approaching him.
You shouldn't try to persue a relationship with them while you are still a student of his. Most likely this could led to him losing his job if anyone at the college found out about it. There might even be rules that he can't date a student at the college period. I don't think you want him to risk his job for you.
Thanks for the inputs, I really appreciate it and you all make good points, however, please be aware that he is no longer my teacher and does not teach me any subject anymore, and yet, this is not college, it's just an institute......hmmmm
There is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't just go over to him in the classroom and tell him that there is something very important you need to discuss and can he stay for a moment after class? Just be direct and straightforward. If he says no, then forget about him. Even though he may have feelings, for some reason of his own he doesn't want to get involved.
If he says yes, then tell him that you'd love to get to know him and would he have dinner with you. Just like that. Say it. See who he really is and how he responds. You have nothing to lose. There's nothing wrong with dating a man in his thirties
' he's looking for the one to settle down with.'
How do you know this?
'He is such a gentleman, very ethical '

Welcome to the board macrovillage,
Since he's the teacher and you are the student, I would highly recommend you take your cues from him.
Wait until the term is completely done and the grades have been processed and THEN ask him to coffee.
Don't ruin his career, credibility,
