How do I make my husband understand that he is leaving me out?

Debra ~ mom to Megan & Cailyn born February 7 2002

What do you do?

first talk to him nicely and explain how you feel about the entire situation.

if he doesn't respond, try again.

if he doesn't respond, raise hell.

Tell him that he's irresponsible, selfish and immature, and if he wants a lasting marriage, he'd best change his ways - and soon.

I'd suggest marriage counselling too - perhaps a neutral third party can help him to understand the basics, like when you have children, you have responsibilities and have to make certain sacrifices for the good of your family.

How selfish and childish of him to behave this way! Men - sometimes, they never cease to amaze me!

Don't let him keep getting away with it!

I think you definitely need to be firm on this situation, because what he is doing is completely unfair and selfish. Raising children should be the responsiblitly of both parents. He should not expect you to be happy to stay home every night with the children in order for him to go out and have fun without including you. Don't be wishy-wahsy about how you feel. Let him know that it is completely unacceptable and you are very unhappy.
