Friends of opposite sex

I recently had the following discussion with my boyfriend:
He saw no problem in having dinner, going for drinks and having phone calls with his female friends, even his exes, and the ones that would do everything in their capabilty to clear me out of the way to have him as THEIR boyfriend.
(He's always been a bit of a player, but he treats me differently than any woman he's ever been with -god knows why- and they don't like it, calling him telling him he's a bastard, why me and not them etc.)
I told him I was more than uncomfortable with the idea of him having contact with these girls, neither do I see why he would want to.
From my point of view: I only allow my bf to 'touch' me.

You can't control another person but you must control yourself, especially your negative thoughts, actions and especially assumptions you make about your BF.
I am of the belief that friends of the opposite sex do compromise a romantic relationship.
Welcome to the board shedevil788,
Sounds like the two of you have different expectations in a relationship in regards to friends of the opposite sex.
