Getting Back to Having Fun?

My GF (not really though) and I have gotten back to talking and trying to just smooth things out and not worrying about the future. We're not really dating, not apart, just letting things happen. One thing that sucks though is we keep going back and forth talking about relationship stuff and arguing and it is becoming a downer. How do we just get back to having fun like we used to without worrying about this stuff?

Welcome to the board hdot9,

I am not sure if that is possible at this point in time.

Does she agree? Or does she think there is something that needs to be solved or worked on?

Our main thing is just compromise. She doesn't want to live anywhere far away from her home. I am not sure. She doesn't know what she wants like if she will be able to handle leaving and she'd rather not deal with it, she's just that type of person. I'm not sure what to do because she just isn't sure and her not being sure hurts our fun factor for sure because she feels guilty and that she's going to hold me back for the rest of my life. I'm willing to compromise for her, just don't know that she realizes she needs to as well. Is it worth it if you have to compromise? Shouldn't you just do what you want?

Compromise isn't a bad, most couples do this.
