going platonic

I'm sure that a platonic relationship can eventually turn into one with passion and romance, but is likely that a long passionate romance can develop into a platonic relationship. My husband and I have been seperated for 2 years, and we have finally let go of anger and resentments, and have developed a good friendship. We plan on divorcing, since he is now in love with another woman. However, when he stops by to get the kids, i detect some flirtation on his part. Actually, i get a charge from it. I want to stay completely platonic, and i can tell he does too. If we resist the sexual urges, will they eventually go away? Or is there no turning back once you have had a long sex life together?

Welcome to the board rivergirl2007,
I think it is possible. The two of you are going to have to maintain a friendly relationship for the sake of your children. Just make your conversions and interactions be about your children only.
My parents were really good friends after they divorced.
