Is this man your boyfriend or just a friend?

I am puzzled that your post is so confusing to some. Here is my translation--please let me know if I am way off base.

I have known him [my boyfriend] for 1 year and am friends with his sister, too. While she was visiting from out of state she and I had a discussion about friend of my guy's that he [my boyfriend] bought something expensive [a television set] for. His sister immediately showed her unapproval of this because her brother [my boyfriend] is bad with money. He [my boyfriend] has a learning disability and she feels he [my boyfriend] tries to make people like him so he can have lots of friends. Now my guy friend won't communicate at all to me. He won't return my phonecalls or texts and I really do love this guy [my boyfriend]. I can hardly eat and sleep. It's been a week and a half and I am so sad. i don't understand what the big deal is. I didn't know buying his friend the tv was a secret and now he [my boyfriend] hates me for telling his family. I would appreciate any advice because I really do miss him.

Okay, that's what I think she's saying. Dkandles, your boyfriend (or your friend who's a guy, if the two of you are not romantic) is angry with you because you outed him to his sister and got him in trouble. He has bought people things on impulse before, and she has called him on it, and he doesn't want to listen to it anymore.

I don't know if [your boyfriend] can easily afford to give TVs to people (mine broke recently), or if he is this generous to everyone he meets, but he is living far away from his sister, and probably thought she was well out of his hair. Now, here she comes again.

I see nothing confusing about your post except that you say you've known this "guy" for a year.

The way it's written, with run on sentences, and he's and she's instead of names, it's very confusing.

And what kind of learning disability makes a person bad with money? Her extreme reaction made me think she regarded him as her boyfriend, but as you say, it isn't stated. I'm inclined to think that this was the first she'd heard of any of it. We definitely need more info.
