Lissa- it is very difficult to wake up one day and realize that the person you thought you knew and loved isn't really that person at all. This life lesson is so very and women of all ages have to learn it the hard way. My first thought to your post led me thinking to you and your safety. I think you should get tested for STD's, STAT. you will suffer a bigger blow if you find out that you have contracted something.
Speaking from my own experience, liars will lie. Even liars that have been caught to a Degree will continue to withhold info, tell you partial truths, evade, duck, you name it as long as they get some positive response from you. They are masters at manipulation and it seems like he is using "his problem" as a way to keep doing it and to also keep you.
The other posters are right: only the person with the problem can fix the problem. It doesntbmatter what you see or what you know. He has to see his situation himself and then seek help from professionals to try and get him fixed.
I wish I could give you a magic answer that would solve this for you, but there just isn't one. You already know something is wrong. You are young with a life ahead of you. Set your standards high. Don't settle lissa. You deserve much much more than a selfish partner that is putting you at risk. Best of luck to you.
Lissa, I'm so sorry you've been through this.
When you mature, you'll realize that people with problems don't want help.
