Welcome to the board keek2007,

While I understand the desire to be in a loving relationship, I do not understand the process of trying to force yourself to be open to people that you have 'lukewarm' feelings for.

Hi Keek,

While I agree with twinflame that you shouldn't FORCE yourself to keep hanging out with people you have lukewarm feelings for, I certainly think it is worth giving some of these guys a chance.

No offense, but it kind of seems like what you are complaining about is actually the whole point of dating.

It can be frustrating, but dating is basically a weeding out process to find who you are a) attracted to b) compatible with and c) have similar life goals/values with.

Hi,

I don't think there's any problem with kissing someone to see if there's anything there. Sometimes you can be surprised, and there's no harm in kissing. However, I think if it leaves you feeling blah..what's the point of casually dating? You'd just be wasting time and leading him on.

As for me, I live in NYC, so
