I wanted to know if any of you can help me with this problem. My husband and I have been married for 9 yrs and there's now a problem with his penis. He's having trouble staying erect. Now I don't know if stress can cause this or not but I wondered if the fact that he's pushing 30 this July has anything to do with it or is it me? I just don't know what's going on. We've nerver had a problem before.

Thanks.

I would never assume that this problem has anything to do with you. There are tons of reasons why this could be happening, one of which could be stress. Have you talked about it with him and gotten any idea of why he thinks it might be happening? I know it's probably a sensitive subject, but it's important that you two be able to communicate openly about it. If he can't figured out what the problem is, he might see a doctor.

Either way, open communication between the two of you is very important. If it's stress, the problem will likely pass and thing'll be back to normal.

We've talked about it but he seems a little embarassed to tell me the real reason. I mean I guess I understand. I did suggest to him to go see a doctor if the problem persists and I will keep you posted on what happens.

Thanks for responding.

hi princess. many things can cause impotence - temporary or chronic . certain medications (especially anti depressants, and BP meds), stress, anger, fatigue, etc. as well as emotional problems, or God forbid if he is having an affair and *can't* be with you. obviously *WE* don't know. you and your husband need to talk about this and you need to get him to his GP for starters to check out the physical side and take it from there.

communication is the key!

good luck
