A little back ground before I ask the question. As of right now, I am currently separated from my husband of 5 yrs.

Welcome to the board momkpoet,

It's tough to say..... you have to really want it to get it back and make it work.

hi,

thanks for your response! yes, we started marriage counseling and have been to 2 sessions together and 2 alone. I will take a look at those books and I also have one on reserve at the library from a Dr. Mira K something. Can't remember her name. Anyway, I am interested in a way, but not sure really. He is very interested and was the one who sought out the whole thing. It was not me. He has done some changes but how long will it last? He has changed in the past and for about 2 weeks it is great then it all fails once again. So His track record proves him not so good. So I try to not hold him to it. But it is so hard. And yes, resentment is very powerful. And it is going to take a ton of work to get over. And I just don't know if I have it in me just yet to do so. But do I have to just yet? I think he needs to do some work for a long while before I have to even show interest really. Sorry to say. Not to sound cold hearted or selfish, but, I gave so much for him and our family and now all the sudden I am supposed to stop and say oh look he is trying, all is forgiven. Nope sorry can't work like that anymore. Ok, sorry venting! Thanks again.

It is hard to say if you will get that feeling back for him. Especially since you say you are not sure you even had it to begin with.
