Hello everyone,
I'm new here and I'm seeking advice/ opinions. I've been married nearly 25 years but it seems for the past year I've been so lonely and unhappy. I'm 40 years old, my husband 48.

Welcome to the board southernaccent68,
As nicely as possible, why do you need to be invited to church?
Thank you for your reply.
Well, I feel he should ask me to go. I mean, I believe if he is as religious as he claims he is it looks like he would encourage me to go. I know when I used to go to church I'd invite everyone I possibly could. No, they do not have any types of marriage counseling at the church. But thanks anyway.
Oh yes, several times. But he never made me any answer, didn't seem to care. But it's actually the fact that we don't go anywhere at all. I mean, I'm more than a cook, housekeeper, ect. It bothers me more he makes those rude comments about overweight people and his attitude about it. I'm not dumb; I know he is directing that to me and it does hurt. I mean, us overweight people have feelings too. It certainly does not mean we are lazy slobs. After having 4 children, it is unrealistic to expect one to weigh what they did before the children came. Expecting otherwise is just being ignorant and shallow. But I'm the same person I was before I put the weight on. Life is too short to be unhappy.....
No, after having four children it is not realistic to expect you to have the same body as you did before them, but you said you are obese - personally, I would be very unhappy if my partner let himself go and became obese.
It may not be
