My bf wants a break
| Fri, 06-27-2008 - 3:11pm |
For the first year of or relationship everything was perfect he paid attention to me and took me out. Now for the past year and a half he has become less affectionate and wants to spend all his time with his friends he hardly ever wants to do anything with just me. And when we do go out he doesn't even hold my hand. We get into a lot of fights because of this but I just want to spend time with him without his friends there. He blames all of this trouble we're having on me saying that I'm always

I understand it can be really hard to accept something like this. BUT, you cannot
Nagging him and "getting on him" is not going to make him want to spend more time with you, it will make him want to be with you even less. Anything will be a chore if you make it into mandatory homework for him. Wouldn't you rather be with someone who doesn't need to be arm wrestled into being your boyfriend?
A break is just an easier way of breaking up. I think he's trying to make the transition into singlehood.
Your feels are completely justified, however, he seems to be over the "honeymoon"
