I think telling him marriage counseling or seperation is the best thing you can do at this point. Obviously right now he isn't even interested in talking to you about this or doing anything to make things better. You just have to be willing to follow through with the seperation if it comes to that.

This to me says that you did not marry the man you really wanted to marry. It's okay to have standards and it's also okay NOT to marry someone if they aren't the right person for you. You can love someone and simply not be compatible. I think this would be an important lesson you need to teach yourself before saying "I do".
