You have become one of many thousands of victims of a Nigerian scam. The U.S. State Department has issued several warnings over the last few years about this international problem. For more information go to www.nigerianscams.org or www.mazu.com. If you go to yahoo.com and enter Nigerian scams, many more websites will pop up.

Stop all contact with this criminal immediately.

What you have described is common among men in Nigeria. He will never make the walk down the isle, something will always come up. These men make a living from women in America. Your heart may be broken, but remember this, you have been an Angel to this man when he needed you most. Therefore, you have given him a life. Take pride in knowing that you are a "giver" by nature and that we are good people. We just can't help out everyone in the world. If you heart can take it, still conversate with him, but don't go out of your way to help him. This is a plan that many Nigerian men do to get US dollars. Find another companion and chalk this up to an experience not to be forgotten.
