I've been thinking about something kind of odd that I think my girlfriend's family does...I used to think it was maybe all in my head but others have been expressing the same views I have so I decided to ask online, why not...anyways
I've been dating a girl(who's 19) for almost a year now and I've noticed that around her brothers(aged 18 and 13) that it isnt uncommon for them to slap eachother in the butt. not just a little tap but the kind of slap youd give to a girlfriend or girlfriend. It could be either one of them doing it to the other...for example my girlfriend could be leaning on the counter and one of her brothers will walk by and smack her in the ass...or she will be standing in front of the couch and one of her brothers who is lying down my smack her in the ass basically because its close by. She does this to them as well. I used to think maybe this only bugged me because I grew up with all brothers and no sisters and this was just how it is...until the day of her birthday her older brother kept bringing up the idea of him spanking her...it was brought up 3 times and it seemed like if she would have went along with it it wouldve happened. Anyways his girlfriend made a remark about him being a little too old to be worried about spanking his sister on her birthday...i asked a couple of my friends who have brothers and sisters and they say they have never been slapped, spanked, or smacked on the ass by siblings of opposite sex on any occassion and that it would make them uncomfortable if it did happen.
now this goes on quite frequently in her household and it makes me uncomfortable with how open they are to slapping eachother on the ass for no reason it seems. If some1 is blocking the tv wouldnt a simple please move or the touch on the leg or arm to coax them out of the way be a little more appropriate than a hearty slap on the ass??
It could just be me though, although all my friends seem to think how I do, and my manager who is 61 years old believes that possibly the kids havent been able to grow up due to their strict and usually socially constrictive parents...
any thoughts?? please help

Welcome to the board steelers1985,
It's odd to me. I don't do that to my brother.
I can certainly see why this
