We live right on the Canadian/U.S. border and have an attena, no cable. I like all the CSI's, American Idol, Canadian Idol, Survivor, House, Numbers, Heros, Ghost Whisperer, the other one with the housewife who dreams for the FBI (see how good my mind is working tonight), Criminal Minds, and Cold Case (a Canadian show).
I'm in Australia, so not everyone will be familiar with my choices.
Of US TV shows, I like Grey's Anatomy. And I love Deadwood too, but I buy the DVDs because we don't have cable. I was enjoying Judging Amy, but it only shows in 'off ratings' season...but last off ratings it didn't make an appearance. Don't know what happened there. I still miss the old days of ER with the extremely sexy Dr Carter. I stopped watching when he left.....
All Saints is an Aussie hospital drama which I enjoy.
And I often like BBC (British Broadcasting Commission) dramas and comedies too.
One of the things I notice and enjoy about Aussie and British TV is that they have regular looking actors - not the beautiful people that Hollywood seems to prefer. Our exception to the rule are teen dramas....sad because teens are the ones who need regular looking role models.
Oh, the dreaming - Medium. I used to watch that show until there were too many episodes where her husband was telling her she was 'wrong' and it was hard to watch when he wasn't being supportive.
I really like House, Ghost Whispherer, American Idol, Boston Legal, Desperate Housewives, and Prison Break.
I really think I spend too much time in front of the tv.

I wish I got the upgraded pkg for cable, as I like the BBC shows as well.
