question of logic

My boyfriend and I have been together for over three years now, neither of us has ever cheated on the other, however it seems impossible for us to trust each-other not to cheat, especially on my side. I have had others cheat on my before and it seems to have washed away by ability to trust anyone concerning infidelity. People call this irrational, but i don't think it is. If it’s true that the majority of men and women cheat it doesn't seem logical to me to trust someone not to do it in the first place. Are the any real couples that will never cheat on each-other? Is that even a realistic scenario?

Well, I think counseling for you could go a long way in healing the past and what you've experienced.

I agree with Carrie that counseling would be very helpful for you. It is not true that majority of men and women cheat. There are many, many couples that don't cheat on each other. It is a very realistic scenario. I am sorry that your past relationships have left you so jaded.
