Hi there,
My bofriend and I dated for 1 1/2 years, and were friends for a year prior, I broke up with him, about 5 months ago, I felt that I needed sometime to figure out what I really wanted out of life. He followed me around stalking me practically for 2 months, on the third month the repetitive phone calls slowed down to once a week, after much consideration I decided I wanted to work through things, I spent 2 months now explaining my feelings, and begging for another chance. He seems very close when we talk but then no phone call for about a week. I recently found out that he has been seeing someone from work for the last 3 months, which I had asked him about and he had lied about. He made it seem as though they just spend time together, that when we broke up he was so devasted, and was doing crazy things, and he had to remind himself all of the bad just to help him move foward. He has me in limbo, 1 step foward 10 back. I am not sure how to handle things with him. I want to give him space to fully make up his mind and not be angry with me for the break up, but I also fear that a lack of persistency will make him grow closer to the other woman. What should I do??? He is a great guy he is very complex and sensitive. He is 46 so he is not a teenager, and the fact that he ran to someone else really confuses me, and the fact that he seems to call just as I have given up all hope also confuses me. (However when he calls most of the time it is all small talk, unless I press for more.) Please help>>>

Welcome to the board myneed2no,
So the months he spent bothering you, you never offered the olive branch to have a discussion?
