Go the doctor and get checked. There's no good in just worrying. Find out if anything is wrong. It's always a good idea to know your partner's history, and it's also an even better idea to get physically checked out if something like this happens, no matter what they say. Most likely, all is well. Don't worry about it too much, just go and be sure.

Welcome to the board ithinkifoundhim,

Go get checked, but can't you ask him?

Thank you for your advice, and yes I did asked him, he said that he had a complete physical in about 4 months ago and he is okay. The problem is I always want to see proof before engaging in unprotected sexual activities.

And how likely is it that he was celibate for 4 months after the physical? I agree with the other posters--protect yourself by getting tested.

A physical, even a complete one, does not test for any STDs.
