We have been dating for 4 years. My BF is 40 and I am 29. He has a son that we have full-time who is 11. So its basically like we have an 11 yr old running around the house for the last 3+ years.
BF and I are natural entrepreneurs-thats how we met. Both in the real estate industry...no matter where you live in America-odds are good that the market is very bad as it is where we live.
I sucked it up and finally took a job paying less then I have made in 7 years....BF is still hanging on to what he hopes will turn lucrative-mean while literally borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. LARGE sums of money $40-50k.
All we ever do is work, work work. When work is finally done? We are so mentally drained that we literally sit silently watching/staring at the TV. We will "robotically" reach over and touch the other so as to aknowledge the other is there...seriously...this is our life.
Every other weekend we have a "date night" yet

Try renting movies together to watch on the weekends, or taking walks together, having picnics when it is nice out, playing some games together, etc.
