Is there a way to find the information?

I'm writing to ask if there is any way, (besides spending money I don't have for software)to find out where someone has been on a computer, even after they have deleted the cookies, and cleared the history? I believe my husband may be doing something, or going into a secret e-mail account and mailing someone, that he wants to hide from me. If you had and idea of what I'm feeling right now, you'd want to know as well. Can anyone please tell me, the path, or file name, or any information would really help.

Thank you

Hmmm thats a tough one.. I understand how you feel though, i wonder about my boyfriend sometimes. go to http://www.mess.be I am not positive you'll find things there but look under downloads and search for things that will save msn conversations or something..... make a point of coming into the room when your husband is on the computer to "ask him questions" about laundry or dinner. If he keeps doing this, and your really suspicious... ask him why he clears out the history...maybe say that there are important websites that you dont wanna forget about so dont clear the history for a day. Talk to him about it, tell him your concerned. Good luck!

http://www.e-spy-software.com/

go to this site and download the trial versions. it expires in 15 days and it only monitors for 1 hour intervals. Thats the only catch to not purchasing it. You can set it to monitor when the computer is turned on or at a certain time (i.e 6 am) It tracks passwprds, websites, applications, screen shots and more. THIS IS THE BEST PROGRAM. you will know everything you need to know. If you don't know your husbands password to his email, you will now. Once you install the software, it will appear in your >Start > Programs as "007 Spy Software" Click on it ONCE and choose Rename. I have mine named SYSTEM 32. He will think its a system file and wont look at it. Each time you monitor him, in order to monitor a second time, you have to close it out and re open the application. You'll learn quickly how to manuver through the software and you'll be pleased you installed it. Make sure you keep the program in SKILLED mode. its password protected so he cant view any of it. I have my password set as "busted" i thot that was pretty fitting.

Hope this helps and keep us informed.

Best of luck to you. By the way, once you have his password, you'll be able to go into his email and read them all for yourself, the ones he sends and receives.

the information that was given you is good - but if you significant other is computer savey you may have trouble. Mine know when anything has been added - he checks- and if there is a new download he checks it out. I know that my e-mail is checked. I also have the problem of having him going on when I'm sleeping and while I am at work - we work different hours. He at this point has given a old girlfriend (who keeps in contact with him)His last monthly paycheck and most of the previous months paycheck and he has not contributed to the expenses. He just says that she is in a bind and needs money and we can afford it. Problem being is that he lied and continues to and I am the one who has to make up the differnce when the bills come in.I have asked to see her e-mails in the past (big fight) and now and it's to no avail. I do know where he goes when the history is not destroyed but any thing else will not work for me.

But I think the other link you were given is the better of the two.
