It takes time to make a new business really flourish and be able to pay most of the bills. It's normal for the first few years to be shaky. Right now you are dealing with less income, but if the business does well, you would share more profits as well. When one person in a relationship goes into a new business, both should realize up front that sacrifices will have to be made. It's a jolnt activity.
As for the negative comments you made about him - it is hard to take bitter words back. You can ask for forgiveness and if he cannot grant it or trust you again, then it's appropriate for the two of you to get to a good counsellor and try to work all these difficulties out. Otherwise, things will simply fester and go down hill. There are always rough times in a relationship and it takes strength and wisdom to work them through.
All good wishes,
