Ughh, another fight

I feel so drained right now.... just had a 'tiff' with my BF (my other thread is below). I stay at his house about 5 nights a week. Last night we went out to dinner & watched a movie at his place- we had a great night together. This morning, he had to leave work about an hour earlier then me. He lives with 2 other guys(and one guys girlfriend is staying there for a little while something is fixed at her house). Anyway, he moved in about a month or 2 ago & we haven't gotten around to making an extra key for me yet. I have had to leave in the morning & not lock the door & his roomates said something about it (understandly). So, before he was leaving (and I guess he was in a bit of a rush because he had a morning meeting), I asked him to please leave me the back door key so I can lock the house before I leave (there is a separate front door key, then I usually drop the back door key in the mailbox so he can get it when he gets back home).

He said he didn't know where he put it (it was loose somewhere since I dropped it in the mailbox the day before & he didn't put it back on his key ring). He just said 'Wake up XYZ(roomates girlfriend)

I don't think this "tiff" should have been a huge deal. No need to cry. Maybe he'll apologize later, but this is a tiny little baby fight and everyone has their off-days.

Hi kbi22,

He's taking his frustration out on you and sees nothing wrong with inconveniencing his roommate's girlfriend after her long shift.

Why don't you just stop by Walmart or somewhere after work and get a copy of that key made. That would solve that problem at least.
