Welcome to the board blueeyes2022,

Are you expecting marriage when his divorce is final? I ask, because I've known people to delay their divorce just so they don't have to get remarried too soon to the person they are with.

His ex is his problem. Don't make it your problem. He could be feeling depressed or feel the need to escape, hence the game.

"So they are still married papers are signed but just waiting on her to completely sign and then he can sign and be done with things."

did you ask him what the hold up was on the paperwork?

Am I the only one who finds this story somewhat incredulous? Or perhaps that is why the paucity of responses?

Trying to figure out the timeline:

OP's boyfriend marries sometime in 2004 at the age of 19 (based on extrapolating being with OP for 2.5 years and now 24 years old)

Wife is pregnant 10 days later - can you say paternity test? - and delivers sometime in 2004 or 2005.

Wife's second pregancy in 2005?

Our hero and heroine begin in 2006?

Third pregnancy in 2006?

Fourth pregnancy in 2008?

Can someone please tell me why a guy would not divorce a woman who is obviously having other guy's children for +/- 4 years? What is this "waiting for a signature" crap? And why, oh why, would ANY woman actually believe something like this? Of course, I often wonder why women get involved with pimps - perhaps some women just believe any damn thing?

Young lady, if by chance, slim that it may be, that this tale is not just 20 lbs of horse manure in a 10 lb bag, you need to walk away, quickly and quietly.

I'm with you. This story does not work out with me at all.
