Hi,

I'm engaged to a great guy. Prior to our engagement, we discussed moving out of our current city to pursue better career prospects elsewhere, but with the engagement decided to put off that discussion until after we got married.

Now our landlord really needs to sell our house. He's offered it to us at a very good deal, but neither of us are sure it will be good for us professionally. We're publishing and tech fields respectively and live in a very blue collar town without many opportunities in our fields. Further, my fiance desperately wants to quit his job and I've only been able to get freelance work for the past year.

The answer is to rent in a new town and not buy until you're both comfortable.

I thought her situation and username sounded familiar.

Radical82, if you can't find an answer you like in FIVE PAGES of responses, asking the same question five months later isn't going to get you any further.

If you want a response, read your other thread over again. You got some good replies, now you just need to start moving in some direction.

You're not in a rut;.......you're in the wrong relationship.
