I've been married for 9 years and all this time I've felt that our sex life is just wrong.

Welcome to the board chelona0313,

A normal sex life is usually whatever two consenting adults agree to and it's MUTUAL.

Hey Z,

You have a point in what you say, but at the same time I need to give this a chance and put my foot down instead of running away.

It's scary to think that he's sexually abusing me and I guess I thought sexually abusing was if I wouldnl't give in.

Mostly with manipulative people, all it takes from you is not getting sucked it. That means don't debate or argue. State what is and what you want.

Consider this book: In Sheep's Clothing: Understanding and Dealing with Manipulative People by George K. Simon

It's an odd read in the beginning but it does get better.

A normal sex life is mutually fulfilling - yours is not.

'..I don't know if I'd say he's 'sexually abusing' you.'

Eh? How did you work that one out? You wouldn't call brainwashing a sexually inexperienced woman into believing that what he's doing is perfectly normal and therefore she should consent to it followed by subjecting her to repeated sexual acts that she does not want to be subjected to in the slightest - sexual abuse? As far as I'm concerned she should at the very least pack up and leave YESTERDAY. That she's even asking if it's normal is mind-boggling.
