I think you don't understand the ways of the 401k--it's not a bank account to which he has ready access, it's money held separately until he retires.

You don't feel "entitled" to his money but you think that being "understanding of your situation" means doling out money to you as though you're his little kid.

This guy's money isn't yours. If he's smart, it never will be. He has every right to take care of his daughters if he pleases. They are more important than you are, and they will always be more important than you are. I wonder how you'll react if he starts asking you to pay rent at his place. You'll probably fly off the rafters like the crazy bat you are. Here's an idea, go into a screaming rage. Or steal from him! Call all of his exes and drunkenly threaten them! Vandalize his property! That will show him. A crazy bat mindset deserves crazy bat behavior, after all.

Thanks for the Morning Laugh, I'm enjoying your posts.

Again, I read your post and wonder 'is this for real' ?? Is it possible people actually think like this for REAL?!

Can you explain to all of us, why a 10-month relationship has more value than a lifelong relationship with his daughters? Let's reverse this. Your daughter sounds like she'll be old enough to be on her own soon. For sake of argument, she moves out and you move in with another man who happens to have a child at home. You've been together less than a year and the BF is asking you to buy his daughter a car. Do you buy it for her? She's been in your life only a little while in comparison to your daughter. Do you pay for his rent at another location AND the bills AND buy him a NEWER car? Can you say honestly that you would do these things.

I get the impression you've never held financial responsibility for yourself ever. Your mom gets you an apartment - which I'm sure she's thrilled to hear you don't utilize. You are awaiting child support payments (which by the way are not meant for YOU but for your child). How or better yet who is paying your schooling? Just curious.

What does DNFTT mean? I've seen several posters write this but don't know what it stands for.
