I don't know what this part means and you tell me what you mean?: We can't now because of his job, he would be done.


Maybe the counselor would be able to work with you on off hours, sliding scale, or whatever needs to be done.

It sounds to me as though this relationship certainly needs professional help, right now, if there's any chance of surviving. I'm not clear why you feel you can't get marriage counseling, but you do need it. And, as I said, if there's any chance of things getting better they won't by themselves. The problems here are too deep. Sounds as though he needs some good therapy of his own. It's easy to blame your partner when things don't work, but that's always off base. He needs to look at himself, his anger, unhappiness and needs and work them through...and the two of you need to learn to communicate in a way that is healing for both. Get the help you need.
