a lot of men are addicted to porn, or the sex industry and justify it to themselves constantly. if you put up with it, you may be very unhappy the rest of your life. if you do not put up with it, he must face the truth... that it IS adultery to lust after any one but your spouse, and make his decision, but he won't change ( by the sound of the story) without being confronted and made to decide. this is all if you are not willing to put up with it. I hope it goes well for you. remember you are worth more than settling.
Dear hunting, "Liar, Liar, Pants on fire". The gig is up and he got caught. Too bad he can't be man enough and just own it. 41 years of marriage is a rare thing these days. The ole' coot isn't sorry he did it, he's sorry he got caught. Shame on his immature horse's behind. You are far wiser than he knows or will ever be for that matter. I'm with you, I hate liars! :(
Huntinglies, I'm not so sure I'd believe *everything* your grandson says.
At the age of 14, he wouldn't be allowed in the venue. And if he wasn't there, he didn't see what was happening. This doesn't make him a reputable informant.
Having said that, I think it was irresponsible of all concerned to go to a strip joint when you've got a teenage boy as part of the group. Even if they didn't take him, he still knew where they were. Not appropriate roll modelling at all.
Dear peaceyma, I also agree with you. I very much doubt he made it up. I just hope the men folks don't put it on him for telling. I pray huntinglies will not devulge her sources. The young boy is innocent in all this. Other posters don't believe him but I and YOU DO! I can't imagine the nerve taking this young man to a strip club.Well, maybe for a 21 st. birthday as a joke, but even then, I'm not too keen on places like that, that breed herpes. KWIM? That husband of hers' doesn't deserve her. 41 years of marriage and she gets a F-U very much? The truth always prevails and he'll reap what he sows, even if it isn't here on this
You've gotten some good input already. I just wanted to add, a 14 yr old, while he probably doesn't have first hand knowledge, I'm sure he does hear things.
I think what happened is that Grampa and the other guys told Grandson NOT to tell, and Grandson had a slip of the tongue and accidentally let the cat out of the bag. Those grown men should be ashamed of themselves if they asked a kid to cover up for them. SO the sad part of it is not so much that they went but that they expected the kid to cover up their lies if asked about it. What is this teaching the kid. I guess that it's all right to pull one over on your future wife as long as you don't get caught. I would be more furious about THIS than the fact they even went if I were her.

Welcome to the board huntinglies,
I think more than likely your DH was lying and probably because he knew you would disapprove of his behavior.

I must say, I think the replies have been particularly harsh.
