Why do guys suddenly cut you off after dating you and resume no contact? This after they've told you things like>>>

1. My friend said I need to put a ring on your finger...

2. I want to be with you...

3. I've been liking you for years..

4. I want you to be my lady...

5. What are you doing for V-Day? (then nothing)

6. I truly enjoy spending time with you..

7. How can I make you mine?

8. I missed seeing and talking to you..

Then after all this, after never pursuing them heavy or anything,..they back off. Even after you never chased them or anything. They did all the pursuing.

***I have come to the conclusion that guys are weird :-/

OK, so how did you answer/comment on his questions and comments to you?

You said - "Even after you never chased them or anything. They did all the pursuing."

What did you specifically do to show your interest and value in him and the relationship? If you waited for him to do everything to move the relationship forward then he likely got tired of having little in return. A relationship is a 2-way street. Both people have to be active and involved for there to be forward movement.

I just simply played it cool like you are supposed to do early on. I said, lets see where is goes..I didn't mean for him to disappear. But oh well...

“Men” don’t spend months in caves. Yours does.. “They” don’t all back off. Yours does. Why ask why? If his behavior isn’t what you're looking for then KEEP LOOKING. You only end up with what you accept for yourself. An emotionally healthy and available man who is interested in you won't act this way. And an emotionally healthy woman won't settle for one who does.
