I think that people owe it to themselves and their partners to end one relationship before starting another. Unhappiness does not justify breaking promises.

Cajun, I just responded to one of your posts and now have seen this poll. I think it's very possible that you are trying to justify in your mind the relationship that you've started with your married friend. I would also guess that you have fantasized about it too. Please reconsider if you are thinking of going all the way. Temptation is the Devil and trust me you will be sorry if you don't take care of the issues in your marriage and sneak around with your friend.

Please firgive me if I am too forward with you, I don't meant to offend, only to help. I have been down this road.

I encourage you to read messages posted on the board titled "Ending My Affair Support". I don't know how to include a link but if you can't find it I'd be happy to e-mail it to you. I think if you read some of the posts there you will change your mind about continuing down the road that you are on with your married friend.

Nope, nope, nope. One wrong does not beget another wrong...or something like that :). I really believe that if you're unhappy in a relationship, be honest enough with yourself (and the other person). You can't find long term fulfillment of sexual void, emotional void, what have you, in someone else.
