FACTS:
- Months ago, in a trip we did together, I saw condoms in my b/f's travel bag. (We don't use them). We had a conversation about it, and I believed he was not doing anything wrong.... (eventhough we stopped using condoms loooooong ago).

- He went for a weekend trip with his friends and came back last Tuesday. I could not resist going through his bag to see if he still had the condoms. Sure enough they were there. Not only that, but inside the bag there was a torn condom wrapper! (no condom inside, of course)

- I have NO complains about this guy (well, other than this). He has been with me through thick and thin, and I am VERY happy with him. We have been dating for almost two years now and we are talking about starting a life together.

- I deeply regret going through his bag!!

MY QUESTIONS

- Should I confront him? How would I do it?
-Should I ignore the situation? If so, how to trust him?
- Should I tell him the truth?
- Are all men unfaithful at some point? Is faithfulness a myth?

I have no idea what to do. The thought of him being with another woman makes me extremely sad. I am shocked and regretful at the same time.

I appreciate your advice.

Thanks in advance!!

Latingirl, I am generally the most trusting person on earth, but this would have even me doubting.

Your questions:

- Should I confront him? How would I do it?

Would you rather let it go? Why would he stop if you don't let him know he's busted?

-Should I ignore the situation? If so, how to trust him?

I don't know how you CAN trust him if you don't find out what's going on.

- Should I tell him the truth?

You mean, tell him that you found condoms twice, and an empty condom wrapper as well? Yes, you'll have to. Otherwise he'll just deny and deny. He will try to turn the tables on you, and make you the bad one for going through his stuff, but just stick to the real issue.

- Are all men unfaithful at some point? Is faithfulness a myth?

No, faithfulness is not a myth, although it looks a lot like your boyfriend doesn't believe in it. If you want a faithful man, you may have to let this one go.
