You know women best! Please tell me ...

My lady's sex drive is very low. For the last 4 years, although we love each other, we had sex maybe 10 times. She always blame it on me that I do not behave well, that I am not always a perfect gentleman ( yes - sometimes I yell when I am disturbed, or upset). We fight some times but for little things, on the spur of the moment, nothing too serious to last for a day. Many times I appologise, she never does.

To make it short I tried almost everything (including talking about it, nice candle night, gift, going in vacation to nice hotel - as much I can afford). NOTHING HELPED. I still love her, and she loves me, but I cannot go on like this anymore.

We used to have a very happy and healthy sex life, but since she gets close to menopause...(for 4 years? and it does not happen yet!)

I had thoughts of one thing only - to have sex with another women (I do not want to divorce since I love her very much) for healthy reason, because I am getting crasy thinking only how to have sex. I am really desperate but this is not a good solution, I guess. Please help!

2 suggestions:

1. Counseling

2. Visit the "Clashing Libidos" board. There are many on that board on both sides of the problem and they can offer you some excellent support and advice.

1. counseling is out of the question - not enough money

2. If I only read (she would not read anything about this subject) then will not help US.

Could I have a PRACTICAL advise, please?

It takes TWO people working on the issues... if she won't read anything, then she's saying she doesn't want things to change and if she isn't willing to work on a change, then you can't make it happen by yourself.

She could talk to her doctor about taking hormone therapy to change her drive?
