What are your thoughts this week everyone??????

This week my thoughts go out to all the members of the armed forces fighting in Iraq and their families. My heart breaks everytime I have to hear bad news. A very special lady in my life has a husband over there, right now, fighting. I pray every night that he will come home safe and sound and soon!

I would just like to say that, even though our STUPID Prime Minister does not believe Canada should help...I DO believe we should be! There are a lot of ppl up here that are in a total uproar over what our Prime Minister has said and done. Although the States does not have our help physically, I believe that we, Canadians, are with you all in spirit and wishing only the best would come of this and that every member of the forces comes home safe and sound. We are keeping everyone in our prayers.

As they said on American Idol tonight ~ "God Bless America!"

WELL SAID, TRIN!

More and more, the war in Iraq is on my mind, the Iraqis' villainy, the sandstorm, our troops' exhaustion, and the horrible friendly fire incidents. My main thought is that our generals better be smart enough to NOT outrun their supply lines. If an invading army outruns their supply lines, they're done for. Both Napoleon and Hitler made that mistake while invading Russia.

I honestly never knew of any controversy re Canada's official attitude towards the war; I'm afraid Canada never even occurred to me--I've just read about England's and Australia's involvement. Canada has been a trusted friend of the U.S. for many, many years, and whatever differences we may have now will be ironed out, I'm sure. It did my heart good to read of your support.
