since having a hysterectomy, I have had more and more difficulty having an orgasm.

Orgasms aren't affected by hysterectomies.
YAY for the orgasm. Now that you've practiced and know what you need in order to orgasm, tell your husband. Talk to him outside the bedroom and explain the way things will be done. If he tries to stop concentrating on your pleasure first, don't let him. If it means stopping completely, then so be it. He has to be willing to help you before he gets off.
I wonder if I am now having difficulty relaxing enough to allow for ME to feel pleasure, because I find myself worrying about him.
