hi my name is Naleiya--18 yrs old. and i just had sex yesterday for the FIRST time with my boyfriend of 3 years. it was great, it only hurt really bad when he pushed deeper so he had to stop early. But i was bleeding after when i went to the bathroom. The whole day and night when i went home everytime i would wipe down there after using the bathroom, there was a little bit of red blood & slimy stuff on the tissue. Everyime, and still is. its kinda scaring me is this normal ? Other than that it was great, we had foreplay and i wasnt scared or really tryna think about the pain but it was so tight it hurt badly. i really love him and trust him so its nothing i regret. im just scared about the blood.

Yes, that sounds pretty normal. The bleeding or spotting should stop after a couple days. And I would wait a few days before having sex again to give your body time to heal. I promise the next time will be a lot easier and less painful! Congratulations on waiting unil you were comfortable and ready! Your boyfriend must be a great guy.

Some women bleed and some don't but as the others have said, some spotting is normal after the first time because you've torn or stretched your hymen. BUT if this goes on for a week or more, you should call your dr. for a checkup. Spotting is normal, profuse bleeding is not.

And your discomfort will go away with time, experience and spending plenty of time in foreplay before penetration so that you are VERY aroused and lubricated. Keep some KY or other lubricant available too since being too dry can also cause discomfort.

Just ask your BF to slow down when needed and don't hesitate to tell him to stop if you feel any pain because you don't want to tighten up in anticipation of pain creating more pain.

I'm curious as to why you didn't use protection?

it happened so fast & i didnt say nothing about it.. BUT, i was kinda glad when he did stop early b/c of that reason(not using protection) Maybe he had a reason for it, but i definetly dont want any children right now... Next time im saying something

Please understand that you CAN still get pregnant even if he doesn't ejaculate inside you! His pre-ejaculate, which begins oozing out at full erection, contains sperm and is sufficient to impregnate you. Pulling out will NOT protect you from pregnancy, much less STDs.

Stopping early won't protect you against pregnancy.
