Hi! I was just wondering if it's normal for a 33 year old guy to need physical stimulation to achieve an erection, if he's aroused.

Thanks!

There is no *normal*, people are different and that includes their sexual response.

Don't confuse "arousal" with "erection". If a man is interested, he might be "aroused", but still not have an erection. Every guy is different, and age has nothing to do with anything. Men don't USUALLY have erection "problems" until they're older with prostate problems, or sometimes if they're on certain medications, or have certain medical problems. If he GETS it with a little help, that's not a big deal, then it's not medical or physical.

Lots of guys need a little help to get an erection......particularly if they're tired, or nervous with a new partner. That shouldn't be a problem.....it should be fun helping!

PS: It doesn't mean lack of interest or attraction to you!

My boyfriend is 31 and he still occasionally gets erect at times when nobody's touching him if he's thinking of something that really turns him on. I don't know about any other guys. As long as a guy is still able to get erect with physical contact, though, I don't see any reason to worry about it.
