1. When were you the coldest you’ve ever been? Living in a place where the temperature dropped to -35C° and with wind chill it was down to -55°C. Sorry, don't know what it would be in Fahrenheit, but it was COLD.
2. When were you the hottest you’ve ever been? Dubai, 55°C.
3. When were you the tiredest you’ve ever been? When I was working 80 hours a week and looking after my sick mother at the same time.
4. When were you the most stressed you’ve ever been? At the time I mentioned above and after she died and I was caring for my father and still working insane hours.
5. When were you the dirtiest you’ve ever been? I honestly can't recall.
Working on my parent's farm. 4.45am in the dark, wading across a thigh-high river (after taking my trousers off to keep them dry) in a minus 10 degree frost to get to the cows on the other side :-)
2. When were you the hottest you’ve ever been?
Probably Cairns, Australia in middle of summer.
3. When were you the tiredest you’ve ever been?
Owning my own bar/cafe business during the summer busy season.
4. When were you the most stressed you’ve ever been?
See #3. A New Year's Day after 7 hours sleep over three days; which became my last year in the industry.
5. When were you the dirtiest you’ve ever been?
Probably as a kid growing up on the farm. I can remember running bare footed across the thick mat of watercress that covered a small (but deep) muddy stream that was more swamp than stream. The watercress wouldn't always hold your weight and down into the mud you would go! Enormous fun.
1. When were you the coldest you’ve ever been? Sometime in the early '80s, my college in eastern Washington state canceled classes for three days because of the bitter cold -- it was -38°F (-39°C) with a wind chill of -65°F (-54°C).
2. When were you the hottest you’ve ever been? Mojave Desert in July -- 120°F (49°C).
3. When were you the tiredest you’ve ever been? I'd have to say the first week home with a newborn...probably why I only have one child!
4. When were you the most stressed you’ve ever been? When my dad's condition (Alzheimer's Disease) was rapidly worsening but he hadn't yet gone into a care facility; I lived 1,500 miles (2,400 kilometers) away and couldn't really do anything to help my mom. I worried constantly about both of them.
5. When were you the dirtiest you’ve ever been? When I decided I needed to learn to operate the presses at my dad's print shop. I sported the goth look long before it was popular!
