"IMO age is only a number it's how you feel and look. "

It can be more than that to people.

There are plenty of women who have NO problem being seen in public, or having a relationship with a younger man.

Sure but do you LOOK 24 ??

Not to knock your style, but are you more t shirt & ripped jeans, & they dress in their "professional" clothes. There is always the problem of 40 yo ladies dressing like 24 yo too, so it goes both ways.

Develop your "old man style" - suits & shirts with buttons, shiny shoes, pocket squares.

I'm going to argue here that "presenting yourself" and "social status" are not necessarily equal! Many women also like the "bad boy" image, so I don't think you can make a generalization that we all want doctors, lawyers, etc. I'll even take that a step further to say that a lot of "professional" men also like to let their hair down on the weekends.

I just don't feel you can make a generalization that women want men of status only. I've had a few serious relationships in my life, none of which have been with the same type of man. I don't judge people based on their social walk through life -- it's about who the person is on the inside and in entirety.

The only generalization I will make here is that a secure and able woman will not let society judge her -- especially not because of the mate she chose.

Are you sure they are afraid of being seen in public with you because of what other's will think or do they just want to be with you for the sex?
