Anyone appreciate hair down there?
| Mon, 09-27-2004 - 5:00pm |
Does anyone actually appreciate the presence of, and appearance of pubic hair? After reviewing many of the message posts within this site and hearing from different people in public it seems like everyone is on a mission to end the presence of all bikini hair on earth forever. I find pubic hair to be physically appealing and am especially interested to hear some replies from others within the 20-30 age bracket of which I am a part. I have no issue with maintanence, but find the brazilian method a bit much. I need to know that I am not the only one left who sees value in keeping hair down there. I'm looking for as many posts as possible, please fill me in.

So while I've been wasting my time worrying about payroll all this time,
I SHOULD have been investing it into worrying about how other people groom.
Got it! Thanks everybody, appreciate it.

Now that is very very true, and a point that I think is very avoided at that, LOL!
What looks perfectly okay and acceptable on some may look so gross and funny on others. I, for instance, am a pretty much a a rich cocoa colored Black man, so what my skin looks like in regards to this will likely be different from exactly what you were talking about, makes sense to me alrighty. That is certainly an avoided part of the discussion, so good job for raising it. ;)

Thanks for your post stabu. I just wanted to shout out a general comment to the public.
First of all, I feel completely different about someone someone else to shave. I never did say I ever agreed with that in itself, lol, so don't anybody get me wrong. A preference is a preference, but I never said I was comfortable with asking or being asked to do something. Absolutely YES that would make even ME a bit uneasy, I'm human, honest, I am, LOL!!!
Stabu, you made a comment that you felt pubic hair grows back the fastest. I'm willing to bet that many women feel that along with it being the roughest. In fact, I bet many men feel that way too. Ahem,
EVERYBODY, HERE'S YOUR LESSON FOR THE DAY!!!
Do NOT assume that men don't go through hell trying to keep their faces nice and smooth for you. LOL!!! We men, at least many of us anyway, have the most hellish time trying to avoid the burning and irritation and yink and yang when it comes to shaving our faces...YES we do! Its a pain to shave the pubes, its a pain to shave the legs, its a PAIN to shave our sensitive faces too...BELIEVE IT! Our face hair, for many if not most of us, grows back the fastest and the thickest and is the toughest to chainsaw off on such a daily basis. Just please keep that in mind for any of you who think we men don't realize how tough it is to be pretty for the opposite gender and what not.

>>Is there any difference between face shaving and pub shaving? YES! Everybody who sees me every day sees my face - pubic hair is an entirely private matter.<<
Not sure I agree, bud. Grooming is grooming is grooming. To judge between the two simply because you see one and not the other...
...is my EXACT definition of following a trend...
...and its not a trend because of what YOU see on yourself, but because of how you deal with yourself according to what OTHERS see. THAT denotes the classic term: "trend" among other things.
Many jungle dwellers that actually do have pubic hair have actually reported trimming that along with other hair to lesson the success of mites clinging to them in those heated/humid areas of their bodies. Now is that "trendy" or is that just their personal preference?
There are all kinds of reasons people groom in different ways, but to judge them is the actual trend in itself in my opinion. To not like women who shave down there is just the same as someone else not liking you for NOT shaving down there.
Grooming is grooming. Men shave their faces differently, should each be judged now? People groom and style their hair differently. So is that wrong too??? Shouldn't all hair styles be the same? Shouldn't we all just let our hair grow out naturally? If no one sees the pubic area everyday, then why are people posting here expressing so much concern about what they'll obviously never see then?
Will visible tatoos now be more accepted than the dreaded and unnatural tatoos??????????? RAOFLMHO!!!
I still say we let everyone groom the way they prefer without spending our posting time on whether its right or wrong. There's so much more to a person than their pubes, ahem, to many of us anyway. ;)
