Anyone appreciate hair down there?

Does anyone actually appreciate the presence of, and appearance of pubic hair? After reviewing many of the message posts within this site and hearing from different people in public it seems like everyone is on a mission to end the presence of all bikini hair on earth forever. I find pubic hair to be physically appealing and am especially interested to hear some replies from others within the 20-30 age bracket of which I am a part. I have no issue with maintanence, but find the brazilian method a bit much. I need to know that I am not the only one left who sees value in keeping hair down there. I'm looking for as many posts as possible, please fill me in.

I agree and the *thinking* that it is gross, nasty, etc. to me is just a very immature, not to mention absolutely ridiculous idea.

>>IMO.....it all boils down to being insecure if you have to do what a magazine or a porn movie or a guy tells you how you should be. Someone who is secure will do what they want to do and not care what a super model or magazine tells them they should do. JMHO<<

Ya know Tish, the part I disagree with you about is the part you said it was just your opinion...LOL! No dear, that is NOT just an opinion, its the gosh darn truth! ;D

I'm 37 years old and I've been shaving down there for about 2 years now. I did it accidentally one day when I shaved over too far, and I decided to keep shaving. I left a tiny strip at the top and now when it grows out, I hate it! Once you get used to not having any hair down there, the sensations are so much better. When it grows out, it drives me crazy. The maintenance is a little bit of work, but once you've been doing it for a while, it's not so bad. My husband claims to like it either way, but I believe that he prefers me very well groomed.

I'm 57 years old and from a generation that never even THOUGHT of trimming pubic hair. I'm a male with a lot of body hair...to shave my pubes would look really weird, so I trim with electric clippers. Not too short, I just reduce the overall length and thin it out a bit. There's no itching, no pulling by clothing.

My DW finds the idea of her shaving at all to be repugnant. She's 45 and blonde.

I once had a girlfriend with so much pubic hair that her underwear always looked like somebody had dumped a bushel of grassclippings in her panty. TOO MUCH ! Oral was not pleasant.

If a woman doesn't have much body hair then its immaterial; I had a girlfriend who had waxed, then shaved, found both situations very uncomfortable. Went back to natural; that was fine with me.

Thought about this all night...big storm, restless night.

OKAY, I LOVE pubic hair on women. This trend toward pubic shaving looks "ok" on a computer screen but I reviewed my life and the effort required for those women to maintain that shaving is just not all that important.

I vote for au naturelle...luxuriant pubic hair. But if "she" wants to reduce it or remove it, the woman is entitled to do so...its her body.

I also am from that generation. I guess I prefer the "rebel". A completely bald down there lady has many advantages. It's very visually appealing to see the complete woman. As one who loves giving oral, there's no hairs in the teeth to cause oral-interruptus. At the end of the day, unless a lady has access to a bidet, there's always some residue on the hairs. During lovemaking and massaging around externally, it just downright hurts to rub my head in coarse fur. Bald is best.

I don't agree that the presence of hair down there on a woman prevents you from seeing the "whole woman", rather I think its lack seems like something is missing, a big void. I just really don't like that bald look.

I second that opinion, flyguy. I have shaved it all off before and neither my DH, nor I, liked the look. Not to mention the constant upkeep and discomfort of regrowth! So, now I neatly trim so that it's very short but not nude.

JUST when I thought this 'who cares' topic was dead, LOL! If I weren't a cl, I tell ya...

RAOFL!!! ;)

Funny thing is that au natural term across the numerous boards that keep popping up. I don't recall that same mentality used for head hair or armpits or legs or even faint lady mustaches, etc., but here comes the pubes and off we go! LMHO!! I'll never get it, just never will. I was actually hoping that these posts would clarify it all for me, but I think this old brain is actually getting even MORE confused...LOL!

I honestly think the only single thing I've learned about this, other than some of do care either way and some of us are just fine either way, is that grooming is quite okay in almost any part of the body except when it comes to the pubic area. WHAT is the big deal about that? Do not let your leg or face or arm pit hair grow if you're a woman, but don't think grooming your own pubic hair either?????????, even though everything you do will be trendy no matter what anyway?????????????????

Thats it, time for some coffee...sakes. LMHO!!
